Welcome! - The FHS counseling team's goal is to provide a comprehensive academic counseling program to assist students in maximizing their potential.
Our mission is focused on delivering a developmentally age-appropriate and sequential school counseling program that is aligned with the American School Counseling Association standards. Together we will focus on the needs, interests, and issues related to the stages of student growth through academic, career and personal/social development.
We will work in partnership with students, staff, family, community members and employers to prepare students to become effective learners, achieve success in school, live successful and rewarding lives, and develop into contributing members of our society.

- Aug 30: PSAT/NMSQT(10-11th graders) & SAT(12th graders) Registration Deadline
- Sept 2: Labor Day (no school for students)
- Sept 5: Future Ready Day (Jeans day with College/Military Shirt)
- Sept 6: Jackrabbit Tropical Spirit Day ( FHS spirit wear)
- Sept 9: FISD College & Career Fair @ the OC
- Sept 10: Suicide Prevention Awareness Day (Wear purple)
